Hárslevelű Wine from Hungary

Hárslevelű is one of Hungary’s distinctive indigenous white grapes and an important variety in Tokaj. Its name means ‘linden leaf’, and the wines can show floral aromas, orchard fruit, gentle spice and a generous texture while retaining freshness.

Often blended with Furmint, Hárslevelű can also produce expressive single-varietal wines and play an important role in white blends from other Hungarian wine regions, including Eger.
