Eger’s answer to Bikavér — elegant, layered and beautifully fresh.

Egri Csillag Superior 2024 is a serious dry white blend from the Eger wine region, bringing together Hárslevelű, Olaszrizling, Leányka and Rajnai Rizling.

In the glass

Bright straw-yellow with an expressive nose of honey, orange blossom, pineapple and fresh quince. The palate opens with lively acidity and flavours of yellow apple and citrus, before a silky, honeyed impression rounds out the long, fruity finish.

Why it’s special

Often described as the white counterpart to Egri Bikavér, this Superior-quality blend was created to be elegant, substantial and capable of ageing. It reflects Eger’s cooler climate through ripe fruit, refreshing acidity and layered character.

Winemaking

The four grape varieties were processed and fermented separately, then brought together in the final blend after ageing.
