Pelle Furmint Birtokbor 2025 brings together Furmint from several vineyard sites, with Újhegy and Sarkad forming the heart of the blend.

Ripe pear, apple and citrus meet delicate floral notes, while the palate brings juicy pear, mandarin and lemon peel. Vibrant acidity keeps everything fresh, with a subtle saline minerality reflecting Tokaj’s volcanic soils.

The story behind the wine

Furmint is one of Hungary’s defining native grapes. This estate wine captures its fresher side: bright fruit, energetic acidity and the distinctive mineral character of Mád.

Why Beyond Tokaj chose it

Because it’s a brilliant introduction to dry Tokaj — accessible and refreshing, but with enough character and sense of place to show why Furmint is one of Hungary’s most exciting grapes.

Meet Pelle Pince

Founded in Mád in 2007, Pelle Pince works 4.9 hectares of its own vineyards. The estate focuses on careful, organic-minded vineyard work, hand harvesting and minimal intervention, with winemaker Szarka Dénes Dávid making the wines since the beginning.
