A powerful, layered Egri Bikavér with ripe dark fruit, spice and a rich, structured palate.

Deep crimson in colour, this Superior Bikavér opens quickly with a complex bouquet shaped by oak ageing: warm spice, rum-soaked chestnut and chocolate are joined by flashes of violet, blueberry and blackberry.

In the glass

Ripe black cherry leads the palate, supported by lively acidity and firm, youthful tannins. Full-bodied and concentrated, it feels both taut and silky, with a warming richness and a medium-long, gently fruity finish that closes with a touch of roasted chestnut.

Egri Bikavér is Eger’s historic red blend. The Superior category brings greater depth and structure, and this 2022 release combines dark-fruit intensity with oak-derived spice and a serious, age-worthy character.
